Doris and Andy were neighbours of mine from 1989 to 1994 and they were both such lovely people that we have kept in touch ever since.
They will be together now fungi foraging and at peace.

Andy was such a big part of my teenage years. As Lucy’s best friend I was forever in his and Doris’s company and loved them both very much. He was a mischievous fun loving guy and we all forever remember the day he asked me to try a spoonful of sauce when he was cooking ! It turned out to be a spoonful of Tabasco and he very much enjoyed my squirming. Forever grateful to have known both Andy and Doris so well 💙💙💙 RIP Andy back with the love of your life now. We’ve known Andy (and Dorris) for nearly 25 years as neighbours. What an incredible inspiration he was to us all. Brave beyond measure, funny, caring, tolerant. He not only became a good friend to Nicky and me, but also my daughters and fizzy (our dog)! He will be remembered very fondly by us all, and in times of difficulty, I’ll always remember him and how effortlessly he dealt with all his difficulties, with a beaming smile on his face and never a cross word. An incredibly inspiring man.
Dorris will be delighted to have you back.
Lots of love
